Marina Accessories’ Shipping Policy
Marina Accessories, Inc. (MAI) uses UPS, U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and
trucking freight lines to deliver your purchases. The preferred method
in most cases is UPS and this is the pre-selected method of shipping to the continental United Sates for purchases weighing less than 150 pounds. Please
remember that the shipping schedules are estimates and actual results may
vary depending on circumstances. If the shipment time is critical for
your order, please call or email Customer Service BEFORE you place your
order. Call our toll free number, 800-585-6890, between 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Eastern Time.
UPS offers UPS Next Day, 2nd Day and 3rd Day and Ground. Please view the
explanation below. Some destinations may not be eligible for all of the
delivery options: UPS GROUND: our default shipping method, usually
delivers within 1-10 business days of being shipped, depending upon destination.
UPS NEXT DAY AIR: after the item is readied for shipment, it usually delivers
the next morning (not including Saturday or Sunday), depending upon destination. UPS
NEXT DAY AIR WITH SATURDAY DELIVERY: Usually delivers the same as UPS NEXT
DAY AIR above, except includes Saturday for an extra charge. This
may not be available for all destinations even if UPS indicates availability.
For more information contact UPS directly. UPS NEXT DAY AIR SAVER
usually delivers by the end of the next business day. UPS 2ND DAY
AIR usually delivers within 2 business days of being shipped. UPS 3RD DAY SELECT usually delivers within 3 business days of being shipped.
Hazardous Material
In addition to other freight charges, an order containing materials identified
by a regulatory authority as being hazardous will incur a $25 dollar hazardous
material-handling fee. If it is necessary for us to ship from multiple
locations to fill your order, this fee will be applied to each shipment.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel and order you must contact MAI by phone or email within 1 hour
after placing your order, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM Eastern Time,
Monday through Friday. Depending upon the circumstances of your order,
we cannot guarantee that your order can be canceled outside this time period.

Once an order is shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be treated as
a return. Please see our Return Policy below.
Satisfaction Guarantee and Return Policy
Satisfaction Guarantee
We know that happy customers are most likely to come back and visit our
store and we want you to be a happy customer! So if you are not satisfied
with your purchases, you can return them for a refund or credit for a replacement
within 30 days of the date you items were shipped to you.
Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with an order:
E-mail or fax an explanation of the problem to our Customer Service Department
within 5 business days from the date you received the product so MAI can
issue you a Return Tracking Number (RTN). We will accept returns and exchanges
with most products, although there may be a restocking fee, depending on
the manufacturer’s return policy. Customer Service will advise of
any restocking fee when you are issued a return authorization number. All
Items being returned must be in new condition with original packaging and
accessories, post marked within thirty (30) days of receipt of shipment.
Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returns and/or exchanges.
Items that are custom-made to your specifications are generally not returnable.
If you are unsure if your products are returnable, please call Customer
Service before you purchase the item.
If we made an error or the order has a manufacturing defect:
MAI will pay the shipping costs (including your shipping fees to return
the item) if the return is a result of our error or a manufacturing defect.
**All items returned in non-resalable condition, or that have missing parts,
will be charged an additional restocking fee. (Return Tracking Number required,
Refunds and Exchanges will not be made without a "Return Tracking
Number." )
Goods Damaged or Missing as a Result of Shipment by Common Carrier
Marina Accessories, Inc depends on our carefully chosen, quality-minded
manufacturers to inspect your purchase prior to shipment. However, we recommend
that our customers also inspect the items before accepting delivery. If
products appear to be damaged in shipment, do not accept delivery. If your
order is delivered without a signature and damage is found, please call
our Customer Service Department immediately. Most carriers require claims
to be filed within 10 days of delivery. Therefore it is important to quickly
file claims with the carrier to insure that your claim can be documented
for later reimbursement. If possible, we would advise taking a photo of
the packaging in the original condition it arrived in at your facility.
Steps to Return your Purchase
1. Within 5 business days, call 800-585-6890 between 8 am and 5 pm Eastern
Time or email: customersupport@marina-accessories.com and explain the problem.
2. Customer Service will issue a Return Tracking Number, as appropriate.
3. Customer Service will give you the proper shipping address for the return.
4. Ship the item in the original shipping packaging using UPS, or other
shipping service that has tracing capabilities. (If we don’t receive
the returned item, we cannot issue a refund).
5. Make sure the return is post marked within thirty (30) days of your
receipt of shipment.
6. When we have processed the return and received the item in question,
you will receive a refund payment in the same form in which you paid, for
the price you paid for the item.
7. Shipping costs are refunded only if the error is ours or a manufacturing
defect in the item.
8. Depending on the manufacturer’s refund policy, you should receive
your refund within 45 days.of our receipt of the returned item.
